I now have a silver 01Y Polo GTi sitting on the drive

Happy with it so far, handles very nicely indeed, like the dash detailing and lighting and the Xenons are superb. But you've heard this all before I'm sure...

Needs a 60k service with the belt change, and the wheels refurbing, but once that's sorted everything will be fine.

Thanks for all the advice so far, and I look forward to years of happy Polo ownership
