mk2matt- tried looking at the jets but unsure what exactly im looking for.

£250 for the package, or £150 for just the carbs and trumpets as they are very good

there carbs, on your car thers only one carb feeding four cylinders twin 40s are these Image so you have 2 carbs feeding 4 cylinders to give more power by improving airflow they also sound good too. the sorg inlet is the manifold made by sorg

wow, i want that, cant afford it atm tho, how much would it increase power by and also would that work on a mk2 polo or would i have to turn the engine around :? because the carb on my car is towards the driver so it wouldnt fit twin carbs

think of the carbs as universal fit, you can put them on any car its just the manifolds that differ
nope you dont have to turn the engine around
power gains would be small on a standard engine but with head work, cam and stright though backbox you'll definatly feel the power :D
before you think about twin carbs you should sort the engine out first.

if you look around you'll see that SU carbs found in jags minis lotus..all the old british cars can work with a bit of modding as can bike carbs which might be cheeper then webbers though 150 is a good price
