Just had an email back from them now - £190 +VAT. Does that sound a good price to people? They are close to me so that would be a bonus.

mkone - have you used them personally?

Hi Wardy, Ive not used them personally was going to but never got round to it to be perfectly honest. I've seen their work and its good also being local is a bonus as Im sure they'd be able to sort you out a set of spares to run around on. £190 +VAT is a good price I reckon.

Cheers - sounds good. I've just replied asking what exactly the £190 figure covers, I'd probably just want the corrosion sorted and them painted one colour, a standard silver say.

I've got a mate with a Lupo GTi anyway, who'll be swapping to his summer wheels soon, so I could use his original wheels while mine were being sorted.

Not yet mate, probably gonna use these Diamond Wheels people, as above. Will certainly post back once they've been done, include pics etc. Will probably be done within the next two weeks I would imagine.

If you're in Surrey, have you checked out www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk ? Prices seem good and they're well established. Would certainly be nearer to you...
