3 years and 32,000 miles later...

Post by GaryUK »

My trusty polo has just turned 3 so I decided to treat her to a 3 hour cleaning session with a variety of Autoglym products.

Anyway here are some pics, comments welcome! :D

Next mod will probably be cruise control, and maybe some eibach springs but there's so many speed bumps around here I may not bother. :P

Have to agree there, that's a tidy ride Gary. Though perhaps I'm a little biased (promise I'll get some pics up when it's done) ...

Cheers guys,

I had a play on photoshop and think I may have to look into some springs, coilovers are bit too expensive and I don't wanna go too low anyway.

nice ride Gary! i'm loving your wheels 8) a slight drop would suit your car really well in my opinion.

on a side note, where can i find the birthday of my car? there are 2 dates on my engine, one is on a sticker with a barcode and the other is kind of engraved onto the head. are they the build dates of the engine only?

Hi Logistix, I went off the date first registered which is on our registration document in the uk and the fact the 3 year warranty ran out.

I imagine the true finished build date will be a few weeks before this.

Yeah it flew through the MOT though :D

The interior is standard, I think there was a choice of grey, blue and red, i'm not sure if it was a cost option though. :)

Still looking good after all this time, I really wish I'd kept my 9n FSi a few months longer

Your motor used to look awesome on Sportline Eibach Springs when Petrfied had it 8) Might be worth asking if hes still got photos?

Hey you can find the build month and year for the car in the boot if you lift up the carpet, kinda to the left of the spare...should be a large white sticker :D
