A New Niggle

Post by vr6south »

Having finally resolved all the usual GTI problems, corroded alloys, pedal box, cam belt tensioner etc.... I went to move the Polo from my drive this morning and found that the VAG radio would not switch off. I've tried switching off the head unit from both the unit itself and the ignition. Despite my efforts it goes off for a couple of seconds and then switches itself back on again :? HELP!

Odd stuff, is the power button like stuck in a bit?

Have you tried removing the radio fuse and then placing it back in, to 'reset' the radio, to see if that has an effect?

:?

My wife used the car to go to work and it seems to have sorted itself out without me having to do anything. Strange :? :? .
