i reakon your drop it like 50mm mate and springs alone cost about £120 other peeps with 16s will probs correct me because i am going off my polo with 15s on
mine is 50mm gmax springs and shocks (£210) with 17s and 205/40/17 falken ze 512s and the rubbing is near none existent,,you may have to remove the mud flaps,,id go for the springs and shocks mate for what more it is pricewise.
I was gonna do 16's but opted for 15 inch ronal turbo's and a 60mm drop and it looks mint and even with 7 inch wid rims it don't rub even on the harshest of roads and I can get full lock no probs at all. Should have though 16's will go in ok as 15's are totally problem free. May be a slight bit of chafage but cant see it being major.
I use to drive a 106 with 60mm springs on standard shocks and thought it was alright but now I've got a decent set of shockers and springs on the polo as a set that are matched to each other I can now see the difference. I only paid £195 for a 60mm set so you can't sniff at that. Thinks a guys doing them for £165 on ebay but not for diesel so I couldn't get them. Would spend the extra from experience. You gets what you pays for and all that.
