Removing GTi glovebox?

Had a look at removing it tonight, as I need somewhere to place my carkit control box. Removed the Torx screws inside the glovebox and along the bottom edge, but it doesn't want to move

Is there a 'How To' anywhere? Oh, and do they do a Haynes manual that includes the 6N2 GTi?

They do do the haynes manual for the 6n2 Gti

They do the manual only for a 6N2, but the procedure is the same, so it is worth getting to show you how and more.

I screwed my car kit box up as far as I could on the pass. side into the firewall foam, secure enough to stay fixed, out of sight and away from kicking feet
