Hello
quick question for you folks
which standard manufacturer seats (ie. mk4 polo seats) can i fit directly into my mk2 polo hatch?
i've heard that Corrado seats can be used in a mk2 polo - is this true, if so, do they bolt straight in and do the rears fit?
any advice greatly appreciated
thanks

mk3 golf seats need to be modified to fit, for a straight swap mk2 scirocco or corrado is your best bet if you want big seats, mk2 golf ones are set too high off the floor.
Obviously only the fronts are a straight swap from these cars, the rear benches need to be modified. some are too narrow like the corrado ones.

corrado seats are lower than G40 seats. my seat in the G is always all the way down as my head will touch the roof. the corrado fronts are a straight swop and make a hell of a difference to how low you sit.
scirocco front seats fit too and IIRC there is a pattern that matchs that of a mk2 or 3 polo. thus meaning your fronts and rears match pattern wise!

Late scirocco (scala/GT2 from about F or G reg) have a green checked pattern which matches the pattern from the mk3 polo genesis, so you can take rears from the genesis which bolt right in, and fronts from the scirocco which also bolt right in, and you've got a matching interior. One of the best ways to sort out your seating anyway, as the scirocco fronts sit lower than any of the polo seats.
