Didn't think a Mk2 would die that easily did you?

Mk2's are great for jumping other cars, as there's no complex electronics to screw up (I wouldn't dare try it with my escort).

There's also room in the scuttle for a pretty hefty battery, I used to run mine off a tranny battery. I've jumped 2.5 diesel landy's off it without the engine running absolutely no problem, then still been able to start the polo's engine.

A while ago I was driving my old polo past a friend's house when I saw him outside with another friend, peering under the bonnet of his yaris. Pulled over, found out that his battery had died so I jumped the yaris off the polo. Polo 1, Yaris 0. My friend's mum then went to move her saxo, and found that it too had a dead battery. Moved the polo round, jumped the saxo no problem too :D Polo 1, Yaris 0, Saxo 0  Obviously polos are made of sterner stuff ;)
