anybody had the same problem im having at the moment.
I got a sqeaky exhaust :shock: it sounds so silly when im driving it just squeaks all the time, anyone come accross it before?

easy one...at least I'm guessing...mine did it and was driving me buggy....I bet a paypacket its the middle exhaust bracket thats rusted through (good old VW made it about a microbe thick...those good old lads ehh) and thus is causing the exhaust to bounce on its rubber sprocket...if it is that...dont be put off with the normal reply...ie "ohh yeah guv its gunna be a whole new middle section...(as he kicks front tyres and contemplates telling you the big ends gone too...he he)"
Go down to a nice local garrage and have them weld it back together...yes it is near the fuel tank...but a good mechanic will still be able to handle it...and it'll save you 100+ pounds.

Spot on. Same thing happened to mine.

Got it welded and it's better than new.

Also happened to me then 6 months later the front bracket rusted apart, i just put and exhaust clamp over them pasted 2 MOTs no problem cost me £4 !!

yep just got it sorted :D cant go wrong for £5 quid for two clamps :)
