Rolling Road Results - 1.4tdi

Post by dino »

Took the car to get rolling roaded with a group from ffoc - happy with the results

Standard - 75BHP - 145ft lbs torque
Actual - 86.2BHP at flywheel (60BHP at the wheels) - 156ft lbs of torque.

Not too shabby for just an Ibiza Cupra PD160 air intake and k&n panel filter.

Nice one Dino.

What does "at the flywheel (corrected)" and "at the flywheel (measured)" mean?

I wish you'd have gave me a bell, I'd have taken the GTi down :D

Well in mate, that's the game.

So you gonna get it chipped then? Would make some decent gain seeing as it's already up on standard.

I'm not gonna go back after my remap as I've found out Jabba Sport do a Rolling Road before and after the remap.

Wouldn't hesitate in going back though otherwise.

Maybe we could find somewhere willing to accept us for a RR day?

Sounds like a plan, somewhere central for a lot of members would be good if we can find somewhere 8)

Nice. But don't forget VAG TDi's often have more horses in actual than according to the book. I don't think that intake and green filter were responsible for all the extra HP's you have there. Some guy I know with a 1.9TDI 100 also had more than 10 hp's extra on the rolling bank, he hadn't adjusted anything jet.

Wouter.
