do u think its too early for a mk6 deek?? i know they want to get ahead of their rivals but if they build on the mk5 which is a good car all in all, then they shouldn't have much problem even if they left it a while!!

VW announced a couple of months ago that they're having to bring the MK6 forward because the production costs associated with the MK5 are *way* more than their rivals. I recall a comparsion btwn the Peoguet(sp?) 307 and the Golf where the doors on the Golf were taking twice as long to mount as on the 307.DanDiesel wrote:thats not the golf mk6 i saw in auto express last week!!

So the next generation will be built for production which may have a comprise (through design rather than materials selection) on quality.
