We got one with a tennis ball at school, it just knocked it sideways and it carried on.

I tired to shoot a bird once with my friends air riffle, missed and gashed my eye brow wide open with the kick back(it was quite a expensive powerful riffle) i think it was god saying "dont kill that bird you knob, have a busted eye to teach you a lesson" :oops:

Other than that not really had any run in's with the flying rats.
