Golf Door Pins

Post by lilpee123 »

I have some door pins from a golf R32 i think

Just wondered whether anyone has managed to make these fit to their polo and how they did it?

They just wont screw on, any help would be good.

Cheers

I have Beetle Sport ones on mine. Think they are similar.

Yeah your right they won't screw on.

I used some of that black sticky stuff you get that holds speaker grilles onto the surrounds and stuck it to the metal rod. This keeps the door pin in place.

Hope that helps. P.s i'm sure blue-tack would do the job just as well. 8)

Ahh never really thought of blue tack cheers for that. Only thing is though you always get some spoon that pulls your door pins to unlock the car or something like that  but suppose it wouldnt take alot to put them back on.
