New MK1 Parts!

Post by WildChild »

Well i've just had confirmation that my order from a salvage yard is on it's way :)

Breaking an 1981 MK1 Blue Polo :)

Have grabbed:
Rear bumper (perfect condition)
bonnet lifter (perfect working order)
interior door covers for driver side, passenger side and rear seat side panels :) - in a Navy Blue :) (will go against my Yellow inreplacement of my black panels)
Left & Right Wing Mirrors (woop! left wing mirror! finally!)

The car also has pockets at the bottoms of both passenger and driver side doors (originals) which mine never came with, so i'm getting these as well :D

hehe :)

all for £60 Including Delivery :)

I think im right in saying they were a Votex or Kamei add on job. Memory is a bit hazy, but i seem to also remember another bit of tray that went between the gearstick and dash, and one behind the handbrake. I will try dig out some pics.

Thats a keen price though, well done.

Think that bit goes behind the handbrake, hence the sort of cuttout shape where the handbrake would be with room to get your hand round it (left hand drive of course)

More obscure items from the N Yorkshire treasure trove!

I think the door pockets WildChild is getting are the factory fit door bins, which incorporated speaker grilles also. Not sure what model they came on, :? possibly LX's or GLS's?
