Its just simply a white sticker with a vw badge on it and the address of the dealer that completed the recall...

my car is having the recall done today!!!! Car drove fine and went to have a new key at vw and they noticed it had not been done so they booked it in without any hastle at all

It will be in the back of the service book if it has been done.

right ive been to see it. its a very genuine car at a decent price. But i could hear a clicking noise comming from the front end, i'm slightly consirned this is the diff so im gonna pass it up. If i buy it now ill have no cash if something goes wrong, but at the end of the summer ill have £1500 spare after i buy a car so i could fix anything that went wrong :)

Looks like polo plans are on hold for a coulpe of month :\

It was fine when idling, I didn't want to risk it really. I'll wait until end of the summer when i have more money behind me. It will be even better then. As they say "good things come to those who wait" :D

edit: what it noticed was that the gear leaver moved in 4th of this one also, but only 4th gear, weird! They are very strange to drive after being used to a micra lol. The gear throw is really long, and the pedals are close together, but that wouldn't take long to get used too. Felt rather pokey even though i didnt rev more then about 3.5k. I deffo want one now! :)
