Sounds nice btw :P Bit loud for my tastes but nice :)

And yes, it does have 'VW Racing' on the tailpipes as is on the ETKA picture :D

Well, was gonna take some pics today but the backbox needed some adjusting and the car definately needs cleaning!

Looks fantastic and its not too loud either (seems to be louder inside than outside! :) ).

On a sadder note. The suspension creaks that EVERYONE seems to have when downshifting/braking/slowing down are getting much worse now. Almost constant :( Lucky I have the warranty covered springs :P

(btw, has anyone ever had the creaking suspension problem sorted?)

Cheers,

Neil

Yeah, like an engine/gearbox mount is creaking. I think there has been talk of this problem on polo9n.com :?

I've reported the creaking suspension problem 3 times to my garage but nothing is ever done.

Must be a design fault coz the load Polo Auto I had, had the same problem. The Polo 9n auto is one slowwww car.

Just read djskeasy's post - sorry but don't take offence to the above post, it's just I'm used to Diesel Power. The auto is smooth but I really had to trash it to make it go anywhere. The auto MPG is horrendous though!!

Mine was making noises from the front for a while but, while trying to work out what exactly was making them, I turned the wheels to full lock, then gave the bushes each end of the vertical "connecting rod thingie" that runs from the end of the anti-roll bar up to a connection about mid way up the shock a really good squeeze (they're quite soft, really), and it hasn't done it since... Then opposite full lock and same thing done on the other side. Sounds really odd, I know, but it did seem to work....

Weird VW voodoo. Shouldn't have made any difference, but it did.

My sound was more of a heavily-loaded clunk - you know something with force going through it - and it only happend when bumping over spped bumps, etc. Don't know if yours is the same...

Deek.

Right guys,

Spent five hours cleaning the Polo tonight so it got too dark to take a picture of the whole car :cry:

However, got a close-up of the backbox for you all. It's the only dirty part of the car at the moment. I'll have to get some special cleaner or something :?

Few more bits of info:

* Says VW Racing on each pipe
* Made by Seibring
* Distrubuted by Votex
* Sold by VW

Talking of the creaking I think it is just a general floor with the 9n because reading Which magazine at the beginning of the year it was a common problem most 9n drivers have.
