"Ok, i noticed my EPC light on couple of weeks ago and then it just went off. However, this morning it came back on and now all 3 break lights don't work"
EPC light and faulty brake lights = simple and cheap fix, you need a new brake light switch. fits easily in place behind brake pedal - search forum for more info on this one
"Another thing is that my central locking is very temperamental and doesn't always operate through the key remote or even locking it through the door."
Battery dead in keyfob?? does it work when your closer to the car? could be faulty lock - I think there is a position switch in there? not sure
"Another thing is that i my electric windows are playing up to. The passengers door window button is fine but when i come to use the buttons on the drivers side they don't operate properly.
1. When i press to open drivers window it doesn't always work and once down doesn't go back up even when you try it through locking the door manually. "
I had a similar problem, those buttons stopped working - for me it was a fuse that I had blown by accident when tinkering around. It was a 30amp white one, check them against fuse card, just in case
Could be a faulty switch or loose connection - check connections under switch to make sure they are secure. If window goes down and struggles to come back up or does not - then it could be the window motor itself (dead or needs a smack with a hammer to get it going) but most likely I recon its the window regulator - the plastic clips break and the window goes up at an angle... gets jammed and stops going up - remove door card and check
Search forum for post by me on the subject, mine was broken, cheap fix using cable ties. Will be replacing window regulator soon, Ive got a new one sat here
"2. The unlock button in the car on drivers door doesn't work "
Again maybe loose connection or faulty switch
"3. I can open the passengers window from the drivers side but when i come to close it, it doesn't work. "
Might be that fuse I mentioned, I could do this, move it down from drivers side, but not up... replaced fuse and it was sorted
"4. My alarm is also temperamental!"
I think there is a way to reset the alarm or 'retune' your keys to the system. Search forum for info ?
Maybe disconnect battery for short time and reconnect?
Might want to have car scanned at dealer or someone with VAGCOM to see if any fault codes are present, that might help find the reason why you have some of the problems.
