I think the photoshop's perfect. I think black bumpers, G40 arch kit and all the plastic works really well, it helps breaks up the colour. On the Polos I've had, I've always had a GT/G40 kit on them. The guy who bought my GT is also keeping the kit on it, thank the lord! :)

Nice find mate, I look forward to seeing it once it's completed. Oh and by the way, what will you be driving while this is off the road?

hmm, luvin that photo shop. Wouldn't it look nicer like pearl white rather than the usual white? How about getting a different color since your forking out for a new paint job anyway?

Would defo. look sweet in black. Loved your old GT. I would've bought it if i had the funds...

Hmmm.

The photoshop is well nice though. Don't think i'm feeling the red lines in the bumper lines on a white car though... :?

Cant wait till it's finished. 8)

Well the difference between keeping it Alpine White and changing the colour is approximately £1k...

And like a few have said, seeing the car with future mods in that Photoshop convinced me to keep it white. Looks really good.

toXXin, yeah I considered not having the arch kit. But like you said the black breaks up the white nicely, keeps within the original styling but with a bit of OEM+ elsewhere. The only time the car will be coming off the road in the forseable future will be for charger rebuild and respray. I won't be driving a new car, prob just scam lifts off my mates and get short term insurance on my parents car.

kapur - I decided to go for the red bumper tape to play off the grille badge. 'Cause I reckoned plain looked.. well plain! And the chrome tape only worked with my car being black last time - already tried it on this car. Doesny look right I don't think!

Cheers for all the comments and suggestions guys!

PS. I've decided against Steffan Evos, as nice as they are I'd struggle to get nice widths+offsets for them without pain in the arses with clearance on the front etc. But I've already got my sights on another set of wheels. Currently putting a bit of money away for them! 8)

Oh, and I've also decided on the stereo going in this car:

Nakamichi CD-300

PSPPSPS PSP? Hahah:

Have also just ordered some plain UK metal pressed plates! Clear front indicators, crystal sides and a G40 grille badge coming soon!

Ok, got my UK pressed metal plates from craigsplates.co.uk. Awesome service, got them within 2 days and the quality of them is superb.

New plates are always a kind of instant change to do to any car I get. Freshens the whole thing up - but also allows me to stick one of the old originals on me door with the rest! Haha

So what do you reckon? I know Alex is wanting to see them especially.

Well, they're classed as 'show plates' cause they don't have the name of the place that made them on them anywhere. But who's to be so picky about that.

Dunno if being metal pressed is a problem, but I don't think it is. You get early black and silver pressed ones so should be OK. And like someone said on CP, it's like the original plates you find on like B reg Fiestas n that.

Other than that they're; reflective, UK font, UK spacing and correct size and colour. So all good ticks in my book

Hahahah. I'm trying to keep my eyes off it!

Yeah, they're from VW. I just go to the trade parts/spray dept. Give me some discount now and then. I'm becoming a familiar face I think!
