New user! 1.9 TDi Owner - to be

Post by Spammy »

Hello there, just thought that I would introduce myself. I currently drive a Mk2 Ph2 Renault Clio 1.2 16v and am moving up in the world to a 2003 Polo 1.9 TDi Sport in Black :)

On the test drive (private owner) the clutch pedal vibrated constantly, is this common? Any owners experienced this?

Thats about it for now, but I shall be actively posting when I pick the car up next week.

Cheers!

Hello and welcome :D

May I say what a fine choice of car you've made? Perhaps I'm a little biased...

As for the vibrating pedal, it's never happened with me. How much vibration are we talking? The whole thing shakes a bit when it's cold and on tickover, but nothing untoward for a diesel.

We're talking a fair bit, seemed constant too. The owner has just called me up to say that she took it to VW Colbournes today and had it checked out and all is fine which gives me peace of mind!

Lets hope its a good'n ;)

welcome to the forum mate, enjoy the vw experience!!
it may be an idea to get the car checked out by a garage u trust just to make sure that that clutch thing isn't serious!!
i have a diesel and i don't think my clutch pedal vibrates at all!!
