Bloody hell, a 51 car wouldn't even sell for 10 grand in Euros over here in Ireland.

The seller also has some Cliff Richard tickets for sale so you know they're not the full shilling :)

lol, thats way over book price for it, someone is dreaming

"Volkswagen Polo Hatchback
1.6 GTi 5d 2001/51
Insurance Group 12 (get a quote)
Average mileage: 40,000 miles
Cost New ('01) £ 13745
Franchised Dealer £ 6065
Independent Dealer £ 5635
Private Good £ 5250
Private Poor £ 4060
Part Exchange £ 4870"

car looks in good condition externally I guess, which is a good thing

"The car has been driven to work and back each day by my wife"

then why has it a short aerial and this new sticking out stainless steel exhaust? seems like it could have been raced about too maybe

no leather either, still - comes with mudflaps :D

this one is far better value, 17k miles: http://www.parkers.co.uk/carsforsale/de ... supplier=6

I saw that yesterday whilst looking.

The exhaust looks absolutely terrible, if you look closely it has one of those 'boy race' metal pieces somehow attached to the bumper, to protect it from the heat I assume, or as it is badly fitted?

Obviosuly I am aware it is not worth anywhere near £10k, but that alone would put me right off it.
