280mm brakes

want to up grade to 280mm brakes, will the carriers off a mk3 golf gti 16v fit on my polo 16v using the standard calipers.

spoke to someone that fitted the 280mm disc set up and he says you can use either mk2 G60 carriers, mk3 gti or vr6 carriers or passat 20v non turbo carriers

not a problem a had the same problem when looking for the carriers to rim 280mm discs so ad gldly help out cause a know how it feels not knowing
