that may be a problem as people buying polo gtis need to know they are buying a really good well looked after one!!
after 5 years use the engine will b starting to wear more and more and as theres no service history in over a year then that may put people off!
has it had the pedal box recall? cambelt and tensioners changed?

yes i would like to hear more details and pics if possible, as I am in the market for a 3 door silver gti.

As above, has it had the cambelt replaced and pedalbox recall?

What make of suspension? Coils or shocks/springs?

Air con or climate? sunroof?

Price could be anything between £4k - £6k depending on condition, s/h and extra's.

6k is about top wack you are going to get for yours I would have thought, generally they go for 4.5k-5.5k depending on condition, spec and service history most Polos GTIs are at the mileage now where they are getting near 60k and due for timing belt change so most buyers I would assume would be looking for a car with the timing belt done.

I walked past a parked Polo GTI with a for sale sign on it last week in Edinburgh, it had leather, sat nav and a sunroof and they wanted 5k for it with just over 40k on the clock. I seriously considered buying it to sell on but I suspect it was suffering from the dreaded gearbox syndrome but I could be wrong. It was in good nick, the alloys were OK just starting to go. That would go for 6k-6.5k I would have thought as the spec is super rare. I don't see any one paying anymore than 6.5k for a Polo Gti as you can get a Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8T in good nick for that short of money.

I'd have taken 6k if I was selling mine, oh and the sunroof don't look that bad.

I've got one
