indicator stalk thingy

Post by Weedle »

Anyone notice that if the car is all off and you move the indicator stalk up or down the corresponding front parking light and the rear light will come on ??

i found this out last night and was kinda impressed but does anyone know why it does this ??

If you drive along, get on a flat or downhill bit of road, flick your ignition off and put your indicators randomly from side to side it confuses other people lots!

Don't do it in a mk2 golf carb though as when you put the ignition back on flames come out your exhaust!

Its a feature of the car

as above post, its for when your parking on a dark street or sticking out a row of cars or something, put stalk to correct side and that side is lit, so other drivers can see the parked car (hopefully!)
