VAG COM FAULT CODES

Post by RICHARD HARPER »

Hey folks,

Just a quicky, just plugged my vag com cable into car (2000 Polo Gti-ARC Engine code) tonight and it threw up these faults codes. :-(

17935- Camshaft Timing Adj. Bank 1 (N205); Short to ground

17511- Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor heating; B1 S1 ; PERFORMANCE TOO LOW

Any one any ideas what theses codes mean ?

Cheers

P.S I think the lambda one could be cos my cars decatted and the sensors in a special sleeve now under car rather than plugged into exhaust.
What do you's guys think ?

I would clear it and see if it comes back, you can get a glitch every now and then.

I found the diagnostic doctor from Car Mechanics Magazine very useful, get a copy of the mag from WHSmith. You can email him and he was the only one to help me out with useful advice.
