Welcome to the GTi club CymruPolo. About the pedel box thing, i have no stamp or comment in my service book saying the recall has been done. Have rang three VW garages & asked them all about the recall ( gave them the registration number) & they have all said there is no recalls remaining on my car. So i think ( the pedal feels OK ) the recalls have been done & the garage have not put any comments in the servicce book.

I rung my local VW dealership when I bought mine. They also said it had no outstanding recalls.

However it still didn't help my pedal box breaking again.

I just had it done about 3 months back.

Well done on your new purchase mate.

Don't worry about the wee niggles you've found, half the fun of getting a new car is sorting out all the wee problems.
