why even ask this question, standard the 16v is 100bhp and the gti is 125bhp, isn't that enough to have a guess?

o but you have other factors..like
the seats being foloded flat to create less weight resistance

I hear opening the windows helps with stream lining because there's nothing to get in the way of the wind

Its not quite as easy as that - its a closer match than you might imagine, from what I've read on this and other forums!
