1999 Scooby Sport Vs 2000 Polo Gti

Post by RICHARD HARPER »

What would you say is quicker guys ?

A Subaru Impreza 2.0 Sport or a 6n2 Polo Gti ?

As i had one up me ass tonight on way home from work but was unsure whether to floor it or not :(

Scared i got pissed on. :( :(

To top it off i've just been on Parkers.co.uk and they say they Scooby's power is 123 bhp and top end of 119 mph

So i dunno

What do you guys think :)

The none turbo 2.0 litre is nothing special to be honest.

0-60 in about 9 seconds, so a well driven GTi should mean there's no competition really.

So we can now tell people that we can beat Subarus.

Just as long as we don't say which model

funny u should say that cos a couple weeks before i sold mine i had a bit sport with a scooby..... sport

anyway... i was followin him out an industrial estate to see where he was goin then he hit a dual carraige way......hmmmmmmm lol

he went straight to the overtakin lane to pass another car and well.... i couldnt use full throttle til he got out the way!! :D
near the end of the carraige there is a junction to the right, so i turned to go back the other way, stopping at the line only to see him goin by wi a nod and the thumbs up!

at least he was a good loser!

Just have a go and find out mate. Doesn't really matter, in the scheme of things, if you loose does it?

Looking at the specs you shouldn't, with a few more BHP and less weight.

The scooby sport only has 113bhp in a 4 wheel drive saloon, you should have killed it!

Funnily enough though its still 1 ins group higher than the PoloGti

If your car is packing 138BHP, as you have on your profile. I think you will blow the doors off a Scooby Sport. :D Like Wardy said, just have a go.

About 3 weeks ago, i was driving home from my mates house & some bloke in his Range Rover Sport came flying up behind me when i was slowing down for a roundabout.

It was game on in my view ( i knew i would lose ) off the roundabout i had my foot welded to the floor  , got a good abit away from the RRS ( he was probably messing with me ). I pulled into the inside lane at 80 mph & he went flying pass.

We then had another go at each other off some traffic lights. Its fare to say he anihilated me, but it was fun :D

I wasted some guy in a BMW 3 series from the lights, fare to say he was a sore loser judging by him driving behind me with his main beam on

ha oh god i've had some fun from the lights since ive had my GTi, the best was this guy at night with a focus (fully chavved up with neons and everything) and i wasted him from the lights then on a dual carriageway, just waited for him then pissed all over him, good to see his face when i thrashed him lol
