Insurance?

Post by jimbo »

I'm looking to buy a Polo GTi shortly and have been shopping around for insurance quotes.
Has any1 got any tips for the best company to go with and the cheapest quotes they've had?

Cheapest i've got so far is £800 fully comp, with £500 excess from RAC. I'm 22, with no NCB - hence the expensive quotes im getting.

Any other under 25yr olds have any luck with good quotes??

Cheers

My girlfriend pays £600 insurance, £450 excess for us both. Shes 23 with 2 ncb, iam 26 been driving for 1 year 4 months, thats fully comp with elephant.

So your quote for the RAC isn't that bad. Some people on here are paying over a grand for insurance.
