ik gebruik zo van dat dik vet, zo van dat kettingvet.. Available in every hubo, Gamma, auto5,... It's the kind of grease you put on a chain of a motorbike.. As long as its thick..

Alex, the mudflaps help to keep it cleaner !!. They don't take long to fit / remove.

Sorry Chris, I thought Harry typed that post

/Idiot

You're probably right about keeping it clean longer.

Thanks for the info Bart, I'll make sure to lube them up properly. My KW's didn't even come with anything so I have to go out and get some anyway.

soon :D I will get them covered in leather in about 3-4 months. They sit much better than the comfortline seats I had, and that's what its all about eh :)
I'm not sure which color leather I want though. The lower side of my dash and my doorpanels are grey. So my leater is going to be (dark)grey aswell I think. Altough bordeaux would look nice too I think. Bwa.. It's something to think about for the next couple of months...

ideas are always welcome

ah the joys of winter, such a delite. that feeling of wheels slipping beneither ur car and the way that ur heaters always blow cold air at u! (people who have mk2 and mk3 polos will understand)

does anyone have a non leather gear nob e.g a crome one like i have? if so, when u get in the car do u find that ur gear nob is freeeeezing (u can probably tell i hadn't thought of that when i bought it in the summer)??

to solve this problem i have been told that a sutable way to keep ur nob nice and warm is to put a glove on it. as of yet i haven't tried it as it hasn't been that cold yet but if anyone does, please let me no how they get on!!

... and raining up in leeds (or at least it was when I was walking from the car park!)

No frost this morning though, which was good. Last couple of mornings I've had to scrape my windows clear
