top speed

what is the top speed supposed to be of a 1.0 litre coupe,it is completely standard,also has anyone had trouble with brake light switches?

my mk2 1 litre does 85 without any trouble, to 95 but definetely feeling that it shouldn't be that fast, and i took it to 100 once but soon chickened out when i thought i heard things falling off

(all of these were ofcourse on a private road)

tbh though mate the 1 litres are for lil town trips, not motorway cruisers so i'm quite happy driving on motorways in my car but obviously it's not going to compete with a BMW or a mondeo etc for cruising speed and comfort

i just wondered because it was shaking like anything lol not the actual car just the dashboard,
there is a mk3 polo coupe in my local scrapyard that i have had a few parts off if anyone needs some i may be able to get them
