Could i keep my Original discs i got on my GTI and out fast road pagid pads on? I want to know if it will improve the braking or damage the discs aswell? I get can get standard Mintex discs and pads for Â£90, i think thats a reasonable price for a good make. I Work in a main dealer so i get some Â£Â£Â£ off

No problem with keeping the original discs and buying performance pads. I did this with mine, bought Black Diamond pads all round and new front discs. Braking performance feels better (the new front discs contribute to this quite a bit?) but the biggest bonus is the dramatic reduction in the amounts of brake dust being kicked out
