key issues

went to start my car this morning it turn over but wont start! after try quite a few times it started. wen i got to work i put it on the diagnostics, and it said there was a fault with the key and wont turn of the imbolliser.

does anyone kno if there is a way of resetting the chip in the key with have to get it done at a dealership?
