New guy!

Post by YOGi »

Hey people,

Just recently purchased my third dub (first was a mk4 polo  ) and it happens to be a 2002 VW POLO 1.9 Sport TDI 100 so I thought I had better join up here!

Heard of you guys back when ukmkivs needed a place to crash while the forum was being updated.

I basically needed a change of car since getting my new job as my golf 1.8T was a pig for economy since the 4bar fpr and revo etc and so I thought I would go for the polo as they seem to have good write ups for economy etc.

Looking to do a few little things to it such as some cruise control (can this be done?) nicer wheels and possible some revo, cc etc, will ask about these closer to the time, in the meantime I will be lurking around and asking the odd question here and there.

Cheers YOGi

Welcome mate... another new oil burner member.. :)

Gotta agree with you on the economy got 70.8mpg on the computer the other day in 50mph traffic, and i get dissapointed if it goes under 40mpg.

just to add to the PM i sent ya, Id think somewhere like Jabba or Awesome's would be able to fit cruise..

Yes it can, you would need to purchase the stalk and then get it fitted and programmed in with vag com. For my 6N2 is was going to cost about £175 I think.

Just like to report! got 49.2 MPG average on my way to work this morning! :D

And was giving it some gas!

Very Happy!

Remap is on the cards though! Along with some cruise control.... anyone fitted this on there TDI 100? Might try and do it myself.
