ive just recently brought a polo gti xreg with 28500 miles on the clock full vw service history 1 old man owner from new millage is correct any major faults i should look out for. pedal box has been replaced, i will try get some pictures up if can work out how

Welcome to the GTi club rustypolo! Only thing I can think of to look out for is the condition of the cambelt. I know its on a low mileage (recommended change for cambelt in the handbook is 60,000 miles) but given the age of the car its worth checking the condition, just in case!

Sounds like youhave found a great example, good luck with it! Looking forward to pics... do you have any plans for her?

yeah it is red but not from a main dealer she had a belt at 25643miles which was june 2005 so it has only done 3000 miles in a year has had vw services every 5000miles so at least i know its been well looked after
