take the 4 bolts out that are covered by the boot lid. Then take the 2 from each wheel arch out. Then you just have to pull it out a bit from by the wheel arches (it wraps around here slightly) and wiggle it a bit and it should come straight off fine!

Hi all,

Im trying to remove my rear bumper also, and have removed the bolts from the rear arches, and the 4 big screws above the boot lid, and still no luck.

It seems like its bolted towards the middle too in a hard to access place; do i really have to yank it out with a lot of force or is there somewhere else where it is attached?

Thanks

no theres no bolts in the midde. shouldnt take too much force to get it off. as far as i can remeber its just the 2 under the wheel arches and 4 under the boot lid. Then it just pulls off.

they speaketh the truth. pull it off from one side first then the other. it wraps around both arches sort of ''hugging'' itself to the car. |It will come off with time... though not much i shudnt think...

This is off course assuming its an 8 valve bumper and that nobody ahs bodged anything on there before now... with i dunno... uber gluber...
