I have jsut got a MK2 1300S i want to lower it a bit and jsut improve the suspention as it's a little tired.
I am planning on polly bushes for the front ARB and track control arm, and a gas shock suspention kit with lowering springs. I was looking at a kit for a mk3 polo from Venom for £150, i believe this will fit the mk2 is this right.
I have been offered some BBS RA's like off the G40 what size tyres would you sugest, I am thinking 185's on the front and 175's on the back to help dial out the understeer a bit.
Also has anyone experimented with fitting a rear ARB cause i have 2 Mk1 Golf ones in the garage!
Any help apreciated.
Cheers

Poly bushes for the front end are good. Yes, the Mk 3 kits will fit but I wouldn't go lower than -40mm.
I would keep the standard 175's all round on G40 rims, it should keep the handling more balanced and neutral.
Unfortunaltely the golf arb's are a totally different thing. You can actaully make a rear anti-roll bar to fit the rear axle. Or you can fit a GT/G40 axle which has a arb built in.
