I'm getting another mk2 breadvan!

Post by quinny »

Hello People.

Some of you may remember my chavy white mk2 polo squareback, it was the one with genuine Golf GTI big bumpers, tinted electric windows, golf GTI front brakes, braided hoses, smoothed tailgate, full boot build with remodelled doorcards, 15" Rial alloys on a 35/35 Koni adjustable kit with bonrath lowering caps JL audio sound equipment and more dynamat than Halfords will stock.

Since then my styling tastes have changed to the liking of standard with a hint modifications such as with my mk3, 1 german rear cluster, 1 uk spec rear cluster and so on.

Any way, I haven't been driving for 19 months and 13 days due to an accident with an unisured driver. I have bought and currently drive a mk2 fiesta. I hate this fiesta. I have now sourced a tidy mk2 breadvan for my runabout.

My ideas for the new polo include a very standard looking approach, my thoughts are to source the top model parts and restore the body work as best I can, I will see how it goes with the compound and polish first, I may attempt to make this runabout concourse style, pics will come when I collect it on Saturday.

Your thoughts and ideas will be appreciated.
