Why does it work, has any1 tried it ???

I've seen it, but I haven't had the urge to try it yet.

Your head works as an antenna *I guess* so the signal is helped along by your skin.

Or, it could be something completely different.

An AA engineer once told me to put the remote under my chin if the battery was low.

It works!

It is basically that you can increase the range of your remote central locking by holding the fob to your head.
Walk away from your car plipping until it no longer works, then hold the fob to your head and plip - hey presto it works - but wtf??? how, why ??

as said up top, probably because ure body acts as an antenna (sp)
