What does the little button do on the drivers side rear door card?

Is it the one on the B post for the alarm, as i dont have a little button on my rear door card

i just brought a set of gti door cards and the rear right door card has a square button on it but not sure what it does. Its not on the pillar though.

There's only one button I know of in that area and thats the button to turn off in interior alarm sensor so when he car is locked if anything moves inside the car, the alarm won't sound. The sensor itself is on passenger side of the headlining !

ahh right well being as i dont have a alarm i suppose that will never get hooked up lol.

Yep, it controls the interior monitoring function of the factory alarm
