Remove back of the back seat

Hi there
Does Anyone knows how to remove the back of the back seat?
My Gti is 3 dr and i need to remove the back side speaker but first the back of the back seat has to come out.

are you talking about the black metal part and splitting the seat?

Fold the seats down, theres two little bracket type things in the middle.

Put a screw driver down the centre and pull up the middle bit then use a hammer and tap it so it drops off, then you call pull them out! its a bit of a pain and i was stumped by it at first.
