part number - gti mats & leather question

Post by nickpolo »

hi guys, looking to order some 6n2 GTi mats from my dealer, with red round the edge, some people say they don't do them any more, some say the part number is just hard to find, anyone here know the part number?

also the leather on my steering wheel is quiet shiny, and the red stitching is a little grubby and dull, whats the best way of getting it back to how it should be?

thanks

The dealer who sold me my GTI stole mine :x
I called him when I realised on the way home and he said he must have thrown them out as they must have been tatty so he replaced them with rubber mats.
There was nothing wrong with them!
Keep us informed if you find a supplier :)

I've got rubber mats and carpet mats with the red border, the rubber ones stop my foot flattening the carpet ones so keeps them real nice 8)

just go to the bay for mats. i just got a set of 4 for like £25 and they are real nice. Have a lil VW badge on the drivers side and also have locating clips. Feel really good quality!
