Which car?
Which car?
I might have to get a new car as my ex might be taking my baby polo away from me (long story - don't ask).....
I don't really want to get another Mk 4 because if I modify that, I'll just keep thinking about my original one and it'll make me sad. Nothing will ever be quite like her.
So here's my options...
Lupo
Seat Arosa
Mk2 Golf
Any other suggestions? Has to be VAG, and in the same sort of price range as I'd get for my car
Thanks

The UK bought more Lupo GTIs than any other country (995 Lupo GTI's imported through VW UK until May 1 2005 to be exact)ModifiedMadness wrote:The Lupo GTi's seem to be a little more than the Polo GTi, but then they went up to either an 03 or 04 plate, plus there was less bought over.
They stopped production of the GTI in December 2005.
The Lupo GTI is much different to the Polo GTI.
Alu bonnet, front wings, and doors.
Battery in the boot to further help get rid of the nose heavy feel the Polo suffers from.
Insurance wise, they are a group lower than the Polo GTI, and a little quicker.
I actully got a quote on a Lupo GTI with the same company I had my modded 1.0 Lupo with, it was only £60 a year more.
Air con was an option, although xeons (sp?) were standard, but in the UK climate control was not an option.
Leather heated seats were an expencive option, as was the sunroof so these are pretty rare.
CD changer was in the dash, rather than the boot like the Polo.
Myself personally I would rather have the Lupo over the Arosa, yes its more expencive, but the blue in the dash, and the fact most were built in Germany rather than in Spain makes it worth the extra.
For a pretty good example:
GTIs can be had from £5000
Lupo Sport from £3750
Lupo 1.4 16v 'S' 75bhp from £2000
Arosa Sport from £3000

The arosa is cheaper to insure because the parts are cheaper to replace if you crash.Tigz wrote:Oh, and I've forgot.
For some reason the Arosa Sport is cheaper to insure than the Lupo Sport.
Could never get my head around that one
I was looking at both the Lupo GTI and the Arosa sport before i bought the Polo. I loved all 3 cars it came down to the one i found that i liked at the time.
The Arosa sport is a bit hard to find as people think they are a sport and advertise them as one but its not when you get there. Be careful. Good luck finding a car you want. We want piccies when you find one.
