Got The G40

Post by James14100 »

Hi,

I took the plunge and went for the one i'd been offered cheap.

I definatly had the G40 smiles, I just couldn't believe the ammount of pull it has. It shocked me a little.

The car is pretty standard inside and under the hood but it has a cat back exhaust which sounds nice - not boy racer crap but just a nice tone. There is a few bits of rust but I intend to get rid of them as soon as i can. A few small scratches and small car park dents here and there too so I'm going to respray a couple of the panels.

Otherwise all is cool. I got an insurance quote down to £830 using Adrian Flux so not too bad. I caught the train up to scotland and drove it back down, gave it a good squeeze every now and again and managed 260miles to a tank so in the end it cost nearly £75 in fuel just to bring it back.

Only this pic so far but plenty to come.

8) Nice one mate

And that 260 miles to a tank you got sounds about right. I get between that and 280 for motorway mileage. And about 220 town driving.

How old are you?

@ DelG40

I'm 20 mate

@ Pettsy

I took the charger off today - looking at what a service would involve. I suppose it's just seals and bearings - is this right?
