I have a set of tyres Ive had sitting around which I want to use on the Polo as the 195/45 Kumhos are really poor in the wet.
I have two new 195/45 Goodyear F1 for the fronts, and two 205/45 Dunlop SP9000s tyres (Lupo GTI size) for the rear.
The Lupo GTI has 6.5" rims I think, so Im assuming they should be alright, I was wondering if anyone is running, or has run these size tyres?
205 Tyres to wide for GTI rims?

Obviously not ideal running the two different sizes f/r, but i don't envisage any problems with that width.
The BBS Alloy is 6J, so slightly narrower than that of the Lupo, but it still shouldn't be a problem. It should only become an issue if you lower the car a lot, but from what I have read you are considering a small drop e.g 30-40mm

I beleave 205mm tyres might rub the bottom of the suspension, I'm pretty sure a member on here tried to fit 16" RXs with 205 tyres on a Polo GTi and it rubbed the suspension not sure if it was the front or rear though. I think the offset of the Lupo GTI wheels is different to the Polos which allow the tyres to fit but I might be wrong on that one.
