But the front bumper has to come off to fit sidelights, so £60 isnt really a rip off.

One of those jobs youd be better off to do yourself.

All of those parts (except the Cam belt, Exhaust mount and clutch) are possible DIY jobs, and most of them would be dead easy to replace.

Seems that the GTI is definately one of those cars where it pays to have experience with working on cars.


As youve had all of this fixed, any buyer now is going to be getting a good car at your expense.

Easy job, especially as someone has written a how to on it

Your also safe in the knowledge that some monkey isnt butchering your car taking it apart.

ah forgot about your lovely xenon headlights, looks like an awful lot of effort for some sidelights, but i spoose they do look better
