1.9 TDI MAF wires

Post by flyfs6 »

I've had to swap the connector to my maf sensor.

Could someone kindly have a look at their MAF connector and see what arrangement are the wires in - I dont think it matters if its not a 1.9 TDI. There are number on the connector too, so e.g number 2 might have a x coloured wire etc.

Its easily, just unclip at the bottom of the connector where the wire is and the plastic splits open. Very easy to put it back too. If you can get a photo - it'd be a real bonus.

Just want to make sure I've done it correctly.

I've changed the connector for a new one - old one had plastic chipped off. All happened so quick I didn't note what wire went where, just tried to remember.

Its the ATD engine.

I'm looking at top of air box - the air mass meter.

Is there one on the intercooler too (just curious)? and I dont know where to check for boost leak, if I need to.

I have checked all pipes and they're ok or so it seems.
