Does anyone know how to change the gearbox oil in a 6n2 2000 Gti ?

And what spec the oil is ?

And how much the car holds ?

I've had a quick looky under car with undertray off and found two Alan grub screw type plugs (Dont know the size though

There One above each other.


Is it just a case of taking out top one ?

But how do you know its full ?

Do i Keep going till it overflows ??????


And do i have to make up some sort of attachment for filling it through a pipe and funnel ?

Yea those are the plugs. I think it's a 18mm allen key, very large plugs. Take the top one off first so it'll drain better when you take the bottom one off. I only changed my oil because I changed my clutch, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I put back in 75/90 thats what it said in the book at spares world. It takes about 3 litres of oil, I bought 4 litres just incase. Keep filling until it comes out, thats when you know it's full. If you want to know anymore, just message me.
