Need For Speed: Carbon
Need For Speed: Carbon
Pretty certain there a few NFS fans on the forum if I remember rightly from back when "Most Wanted" was released...
EA's next release in the NFS genre is Need For Speed: Carbon aka NFSC. Due for release on 03/11/2006 and I've had it on pre-order for the PS2 for a few weeks now from Play.com, predictably!
The list of cars that are going to feature in the game is being updated every now and again but so far is as follows:
* 1967 Shelby GT500
* 1969 Dodge Charger R/T
* 1970 Plymouth® Hemi® Cuda
* 2005 Ford GT
* 2006 Corvette Z06
* 2006 Ford Mustang GT
* 2005 Vauxhall Monaro VXR
* 1970 Chevelle SS
* 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
* 2004 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
* 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
* 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse
* 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34
* 2005 Renault Clio V6
* 2003 BMW M3 GTR
* 2006 Porsche Cayman S
* 2005 Nissan 350Z
* 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago
* 2007 Audi Le Mans quattro
* 2004 Lotus Elise
* 1998 Toyota Supra
* 2006 Alfa Romeo Brera
* 2006 VW Golf R32
* 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK500
* 2006 Chrysler® Hemi® 300C® SRT8
Note the R32 making an appearance looking forward to that! There are screenshots on the website (link is up at the top of the page) and a couple of vids too. The whole thing reminds me of Tokyo Drift a bit, the trailer has a Mitsubishi Evo and a Plymouth Hemi Cuda drifting and racing down a mountain road
Presumably the NFS: Most Wanted sequel will follow next year - you can't leave a game with such a wide open end sequence and not follow it up!

i agree with u there mate, more mods would be good and the cop thing would be a mutch better improvement, they are still keeping the bullet time thingy on but i hope they make it just slow down time rather than making the whole physics of the game go completely stupid like they do on MW, cant wait to get the old 67 shelby cobra gt500 on the go tho
