engine management light!!! :twisted:

came on, went off, now on again
epc light came on - cleaned throttle body - epc light off
engine management on again, now on all the time

which begs the question - any one got a vag com in the heathrow area who may be able to help me clear the light / find the fault?

pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeee!

want to go to northampton this weekend for the polo show with no worries on the motorway!!

haven't got a clue :(
it seems to be a common fault among the MK5's, that and the abs light which still flickers on mine!

Yeh ive had that before. They found no faults at the service last week tho yet the ABS light still comes on randomly.

Have you checked your brakelights, the brakelight switch going causes the EPC light to come on.

checked the brakes and brake lights are working, i dont suppose you know where would one find said brake light switch?

the switch is mounted at the top of the brake pedal 'arm' that connects it to the pedal box - black in colour, unless its been replaced to the updated purple replacement version
